Vision
Our vision is to promote the creation, communication and development of psychology in Chinese communities. By linking all Chinese psychologists and appointing psychological knowledge and application, GCPA contributes on enhancing individual and community well-being, mental health and quality of life.

Objectives
  • To link all Chinese psychologists across the globe.
     
  • To encourage the development of psychological research and knowledge in Chinese communities.
     
  • To encourage the development of psychological research and knowledge in Chinese communities.
     
  • To establish a network connecting academic institutes, public organizations, private firms, non-profit organizations, health organizations, government etc. with an interest in the field of psychology.
     
  • To produce a platform for talented young students, researchers and scholars in the area of psychology to effectively communicate and work with each other and hence to advance their knowledge and explore novel ways to apply their knowledge.
     
  • To establish mechanisms to exchange knowledge between China and the West through major partnerships, consortiums and conferences in order to promote cross-cultural and inter-disciplinary collaborations.
     
  • To develop evidence-based researches for the enhancement of psychological well-being in the Chinese community across health, educational, industrial and commercial sectors.
  • To improve the qualifications and usefulness of psychologists by establishing high standards of ethics, conduct, education and achievement.
     
  • To increase and disseminate psychological knowledge through meetings, professional contacts, reports, papers, videos, discussions and publications.
     
  • To work closely with the Chinese Government, specifically Department of Education, Department of Health and other policy-making bodies to promote the influence and awareness of psychological studies and to apply psychological knowledge to benefit Chinese communities aross the world and to enhance people's psychological well-being.
     
  • To develop a reputation for providing reliable, evidence-based information about the knowledge and application of psychology, the nature of well-being and the means of achieving it, through the Internet and liaison with the media.
     
  • To ultimately enhance the general public's understanding of the science of well-being and achieve the goal of 51% flourishing population.
